Youth and Sports Eagles defeat Atiba Harris Runnerz in SKNA National Bank New Attitude Basketball Semifinals

The St. Kitts Nevis Anguilla National Bank New Attitude A Division Basketball Semifinals playoffs continued on Tuesday with two games.

In the first game Youth And Sports Eagles of Nevis defeated Atiba Harris Runnerz 59 to 52 for Eagles Gassano Barry 16 points, 17 rebounds, Kareem Parry 16 points, 3 rebounds ,3 steals, Trevorn Simmonds made 15 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. For Runnerz Lequani James scored 20 points made 11 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks while Gary Thompson made 10 points and 2 rebounds.

In the second game ASC Jay Hawks defeated Ghaut Bucs 83 to 67 for Jay Hawks Cheslyn Hutton 17 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists, 7 steals, Denilson Thomas 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 blocks. For Bucs Vaughn Parris made 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks while Kimo Liburd made 12 points and 12 rebounds.

With victory for Youth and Sports Eagles and Asc Jay Hawks, both teams are now in the A Division finals which will commence on Saturday at 7 p.m. Both teams will also be promoted to the Premier Division for 2020 season.

The premier division playoffs will continue on Thursday with two games; Rams Hitters will compete against Inner City Conquerors at 6:30 and defending champs St. Pauls Tuff Knotts will take on Sandy Point Pride Kings at 8 pm.
