Youth Shine at 2nd Annual Songs of Praise Gospel Music Festival

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 9, 2019 (ZIZ News): Hundreds attended the 2nd Annual Songs of Praise Music Festival on Sunday September 8.

Held at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle in Sandy Point, the celebration of gospel music showcased performances in dance, song and poetry.

The CBT Divine Dancers and Shekinah Dance Theatre took centre stage and grasped the attention of the audience with their dance selections.

Meanwhile, crowd favourite, Royd Phipps and his drum group rocked the audience with their drum selection that led members of the audience to jump from their seats and dance to the rhythm of the drums.

Several choir and choral groups as well as soloists were also given the opportunity to showcase their talents at the gospel genre themed event.

The Annual Songs of Praise Music Festival was a collaborative project between the Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs and Dominion Radio.

The concert was hosted by ZIZ’s very own, Jasmine “Jazzy” Thomas and Pastor Clive Saunders of Unique Touch Christian Centre.
