ZIZ celebrates with Prime Minister Douglas

ZIZ News — Yesterday was a special day for Prime Minister the Right Hon Dr Denzil Douglas as he celebrated his sixty-first birthday.

After wrapping up his “Ask the PM” show the staff of ZIZ came together to wish him a Happy Birthday.

ZIZ radio announcer Kinney “Kupid” James said “We hope and pray you live to see many more and may it be as prosperous as it has always been.”

In response, the prime minister expressed gratitude for their well wishes.

“Thank you.  Kupid I want to thank you and the management, staff of ZIZ for being an excellent host.   I believe that without ZIZ I would not be where I am. And so I want to thank you very, very much for your kind greeting,” he said.

Prime Minister Douglas then invited the staff to lunch at the Marriott as a show of gratitude.
