Students Wear Red For Patriotic Colour Day

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 18 , 2020 (ZIZ News): Hundreds of students showed up to schools across the island on Friday wearing their bright red t-shirts and patriotic outfits to show their patriotism on Patriotic Colour Day.

Students at the Dr. William Connor Primary school decorated their classrooms with patriotic colours and even served a cake that was decorated with the national Flag.

As part of the 37th Anniversary Independence celebrations in St. Kitts and Nevis, all residents were encouraged to wear specific colours on the designated National Patriotic Colour Days.

Friday September 11 was Green Day, Monday September 14 was Yellow Day while Tuesday September 15 was Black and September 17 was the designated wear white day.

All residents and citizens are encouraged to wear all colours of the National Flag on Saturday September 19 which marks the 37th Anniversary of St. Christopher and Nevis’ Independence Day.
