Workers in St. Kitts and Nevis who contribute to Social Security will soon be getting an Independence bonus of one thousand dollars.

The Institution Based Health Services, including hospitals and health centres will be taking part in a series of activities leading up to the 40th Anniversary of Independence in September.

As part of activities planned to commemorate International Day of Older Persons celebrated on October 1st annually, the Department of Community Development and Social Services hosted an “Oldie Goldie Patriotic Wear Competition”.
