Youth Media Training Receives Positive Feedback

Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 18th,  2021 (ZIZ News)  The eight week Youth Volunteer Corps Media Training hosted through the collaborative efforts of the Department of Youth Empowerment and Food for Creative Souls is receiving positive feedback.

Fifteen members of the Volunteer Corps’ Media Team are undergoing a series of training to enhance their skill and understanding of video recording and editing, photography, social media, copyrighting, graphic design, and information reporting.

Alanni Polanco is participating in the training that has been described as a bootcamp for the second time.

She said she decided to return to another round of training because of the wide range of information that is being shared.

Alanni said she would encourage anyone to be the bootcamp as it offers more than media training.

The media training began on February 6h and is expected to wrap up with a graduation ceremony and panel discussion on March 27th.
